This piece merges one of the unposted variations that I created from my Grasshopper series (See Variations tab on my site for that collection) and a photo of an iridescent blue butterfly, Papilio ulysses ampelius, that I had from another project to create a patterned mixed work leveraging the contrasting colors from each.
